Sky told to hand over footy and film rights • The... →
I thought this article looked quite promising until I realised that they only mean sharing this content with other “pay” TV channels. I’m still bemused and a little dumb struck at the number of people who happily pay for their sports but it annoys me that we can’t see big national football games without paying a subscription. And the Murdoch clan aren’t ever getting...

Everyones favourite Nazi perverts the FIA seem prejudiced in favour of Ferrari YET AGAIN!
Or maybe Hamilton could be tempted to repeat Sasha Baron Cohen’s famous catchphrase? If he loses the title to Massa by less than six points this could go down in history as a low point for the FIA.
is staring forlornly at a HUGE mountain of paperwork (but might just run off into town for a bit haha).

I’m really happy to get a simple install of Amarok for OS X (Leopard Intel only). Just the wikipedia feature missing for me really but I love this so far, even if it is early days yet.

“Troy Davis is scheduled to be executed on September 23 for the murder of Police Officer Mark MacPhail in Georgia, yet serious doubts of his guilt remain and compelling evidence of his innocence has not been heard in court. On Friday, September 12, the Georgia Board of Pardon and Paroles denied clemency to Davis — we must urge them to reconsider their decision.”

This is brilliant! I’ve been running this in VMware with XP for the last week or so but this is a much quicker way to use Chrome on OS X. Probably not suitable for use as a main browser and certainly not safe for untrusted sites, but a...

Fring - free skype on a mobile? →
A genuinely FREE way to use skype over wifi on a Nokia N95 8Gb. Dunno if I’m too fussed about instant messaging on shitty numeric phone keys though hehe! I’ve been spoilt using Treo qwerty keys for too long. Not to mention the touch screen which seems to have finally arrived on a few other phones which won’t need mentioning by name.
Been meaning to blog for years!
And then I think what’s the point, maybe it’s a bit self important. Great way to share good finds though and it might even help me remember stuff?
