Metal Box in Dub
Got to see Keith Levene AND Jah Wobble live on stage at the weekend which makes me very happy. Not only that but they were playing Metal Box in Dub - extended improvised versions from one of my favourite albums. Helped along by a brutal powerhouse of a drummer, excellent improvised trumpet (and various assorted trumpet like instruments of different sizes, I’m too ignorant to know what they are ;-) and great ad libbed vocals from John Robb too. And all the better for being in the Ruby Lounge in Manchester. Looking forward to hearing more from them in the future :-)
